Doctors urge action on domestic abuse

South Australian doctors have organised a White Ribbon Night to help draw attention to the national campaign against domestic violence.

The Adelaide to Outback GP Training Program (AOGP) will host tonight's event at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, which has attracted a sell-out crowd of 600 to hear guest speaker, Australian of the Year Rosie Batty.

AOGP chief executive, Adelaide GP Dr Tim Kelly, says it's time for society to take a meaningful stand against domestic abuse.
