E-cigs a concern for GPs

Almost 350 readers responded to the poll, which showed 49.9% would not recommend e-cigarettes to patients, while 50.1% said they would. Almost three-quarters (72.6%) said they are concerned about the lack of safety data for e-cigarettes, while 27.4% said it did not worry them. Asked if e-cigarettes would make smoking attractive to teenagers, 54.5% agreed and 45.5% disagreed.
