Exhilarating masterpiece

 It has a delicious sense of the ridiculous but with something poignant, even quite serious, bubbling underneath.

As a tale within a tale within a tale, we first go back to 1968 when an unnamed author (Law) is invited to dinner with Zero Moustafa (Abraham), the owner of the Grand Budapest Hotel, in the mythical Republic of Zubrowka.
