Finger length predicts OA risk

A person’s risk of severe osteoarthritis in later life may be predicted by their finger length, which is a marker for in utero hormonal exposure, Victorian research suggests.

 The ratio of index finger to ring finger is inversely correlated with rates of total knee replacement, a marker of severe OA, according to a Monash University study.

 The study was based on data
