Flooded practices given accreditation grace period

PRACTICES damaged or affected by the Queensland floods are set to retain their eligibility for PIP payments based on their accreditation status as they continue delivering services.

GP accreditation provider AGPAL is offering practices affected by floods 12 months’ grace before any accreditation checks take place, with practices being deemed accredited in the interim.

“Given 75% of Queensland has been effected by flood, the first thing we are looking at is identifying which practices have been inundated and which ones have been affected, and we are going to implement an ‘exceptional circumstances
