GP colleges unite in training bid
The RACGP and ACRRM have formally proposed to the Department of Health that they take over GP training responsibilities from General Practice Education and Training Ltd (GPET), which was scrapped in the federal budget.
The move would bring general practice into line with other medical specialties, where specialist colleges both deliver training and set standards.
