Let’s keep the bab-e, not throw the whole system out

IN general practice, there is a computer on every desk, yet we persist with paper communication and rudimentary data systems. The PCEHR has been widely criticised. But is this a failure of delivery or of promises? Indeed, what exactly was promised?
With the terms ‘failure’ and ‘waste’ hitting the headlines, it’s important not to react, to not throw out the baby with the bath water. What we have now that we didn’t have a few
