Life is all about the journey
He crowd-funded this low-budget movie, which deals with a 30-something Jewish man, Aidan Bloom (Braff), an aspiring but not very successful actor, who is struggling with the frustrations of realising his dream as a performer and the fact that his father’s cancer has returned. Gabe (Patinkin) has been funding the private schooling of Aidan’s kids, Grace (King) and Tucker (Gagnon), but his new treatment means that the school funding has to stop. Aidan decides to home-school the children because the local public school is on a downward spiral. Besides, Aidan had a hard time at public school himself.
