A life-long commitment honoured

Drs Keith and Philippa Whish, now both retired, met at medical school at the University of Sydney and after a few years of travel while completing some additional training returned to her home town of Inverell in 1958 where they both worked as GPs.

After the birth of the couple’s children, Dr Philippa Whish moved into a public health role and was integral in designing delivery models to improve services for both local aged care and indigenous health.
