More GPs working in remote WA

An annual survey of GPs by medical workforce agency Rural Health West (RHW) found numbers had increased by 6% from 699 in 2011 to 741 in November 2012.

Fly-in, fly-out doctors made up 20 of the additional GPs, while 19 registrars had also commenced work in rural and remote WA since the previous survey.
