Neurological disability supported by NDIS

People with neurological disabilities account for a high proportion of claims being made to the recently-launched National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), a report from its pilot sites shows.

In its first half-yearly report of progress at four launch sites, the NDIS notes that people with neurological disability were the second largest group of successful claimants (20%), after people with intellectual/learning disabilities (67%).
