NHMRC to review impact of wind farms

Submissions for the review closed last week as the debate over audible noise and infrasound from wind turbines continues.

At a recent scientific forum, aimed at aiding the NHMRC in reviewing its current public statement on wind turbines and health based on a ‘rapid review’ of evidence in 2010, CEO Professor Warwick Anderson identified “the current limitation of existing research into the adverse health outcomes possibly caused by wind turbines”.
