Opinion: Why patients have the right to all information
I HAD an MRI scan recently because of persistent back pain.
This time I remembered not to ask for Ray Charles on the headphones because I learned from an earlier scan it isn’t possible to keep your feet still while listening to him.
The MRI revealed canal stenosis and damage to the vertebrae at L2—3 and L4—5. I visited my physioptherapist who, looking on the bright side of life said: “Well the good thing Beth is your previous breast cancer hasn’t spread to your spine.”
What? Was I supposed to be worrying about cancer
