Push to split huge health network

The GP chair of Murrumbidgee Medicare Local, Dr Max Graffen, who submitted the proposal to the department two weeks ago, said while the political decision on the boundaries had already been made, “it may not be too late if you’ve got a good rational argument”. 

The Western NSW Primary Health Network, announced in October, is the largest in the state, bordering South Australia and covering Albury in the south to Lightning Ridge in the north — and servicing around 600,000 Australians.
