Senate hears vaccine injury compo proposal

A PROPOSED scheme to compensate patients who have adverse reactions to vaccines has been moved by Greens leader and former GP Senator Richard Di Natale

The motion, proposed in the Senate yesterday, says that although Australia has an excellent immunisation record, data from 2012 showed there were as many as 1897 adverse post-vaccination events.
