Survey wants PNs to delve deeper

The survey, last done in 2009, is used to capture information about practice nurse numbers in Australia, will this year broaden its questions.

Researchers intend to find out how satisfied nurses are in their work, what kind of work they are doing, what opportunities they might like and retention rates.

AGPN’s 2009 survey revealed there were 9000 general practice nurses in Australia.

This year’s survey is expected to show that figure has risen to more than 10,000.
