Vaccination proof at enrolment: Plibersek

A spokesperson for the minister confirmed that state health ministers would be asked to sign up to the policy at the Standing Council on Health meeting in Sydney today.

Under the policy, children would be sent for catch-up jabs if they were not fully vaccinated, according to news.com.au reports.

NSW, Vic, ACT, Tas and WA already have legislation requiring immunisation checks when children are enrolled at school but they are poorly implemented and none require catch-up jabs, the report said
