'Almost no referrals': My Aged Care cops criticism in parliament

REFERRALS of elderly patients for assessments and aged care services have dried up because of the government’s flawed My Aged Care website, federal parliament has been told.

Opposition spokesman for ageing Shayne Neumann says the web-based information and referrals platform, launched in July, is paralysing the sector.

“The My Aged Care website and the hotline are difficult to navigate, complex and very flawed, and I ask the government to address this,” the Queensland MP said on Tuesday.
