50,000 enrol for online dementia course

More than 50,000 people from 120 countries have enrolled in a massive open online course (MOOC) about dementia pioneered by two professors from the University of Tasmania.

Around 36% of those enrolled finish the course, which is much higher than the average of 5% for similar courses offered by bigger universities, says Professor Andrew Robinson, who developed the program with Professor James Vickers.
