Out-of-clinic BP monitoring can complement in-clinic readings by providing a large number of measurements away from the medical environment, yielding a better understanding of true underlying BP.1-3

Taking BP measurements outside of the clinic, through home BP monitoring (HBPM), or 24-hour ambulatory BP monitoring (ABPM), can identify persistently elevated BP.
