Aggressive blood sugar control harmful to elderly?

A study of 1288 over-65-year-olds with diabetes found that a “substantial proportion” may be being overtreated and reaching blood glucose levels that may offer little benefit and result in potentially lethal outcomes like hypoglycaemia.
