Arthritis gets a multimillion dollar boost

At least $12 million has been allocated to arthritis and musculoskeletal research in the most recent round of NHMRC grants, worth a total of $560 million.

The top grant in the category was $2.5 million towards a translational research centre focusing on musculoskeletal pain and health led by University of Melbourne professor Kim Bennell (pictured).
