Arthritis patients at increased risk of suicide

People with arthritis may be more likely to attempt suicide than others without the disease, a Canadian study suggests.

After full adjustment for a range of confounding variables, the odds of suicide attempts  in people with arthritis were 46% higher than in those who do not have the disease, the authors say.
