Aspirin use reduces stroke severity: study

Patients who take regular aspirin have less severe strokes, say Korean researchers.

Their study of over 10,000 patients shows lower baseline National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) scores for regular aspirin users who suffered an atherothrombotic stroke compared with non-users.
