Aussies develop detailed guide on managing insulin regimens

Australian endocrinologists have teamed up with their New Zealand counterparts to develop a guide on how to initiate, intensify or switch insulin regimen for patients with type 2 diabetes.

The endocrinologists led by Dr Ted Wu from the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney say doctors need to take into account various considerations when patients are initiated on an insulin regimen.
