Beware postsurgical complications in ulcerative colitis

Clinicians should be aware of the true burden of complications when weighing up surgical versus medical therapy in the era of biologics, say the study authors from the UK and France.

Their review of 28 studies and 20,000 patients looked at the outcomes of colorectal
