Beyond med school blues
Final-year medical student Matt McAlpine has seen the dark side. He’s been crippled with fear and panic. He’s sobbed and screamed. He’s taken refuge under his bed.
He’s tried to get better, but says the road to recovery can seem impossible.
“You question why you ever embarked on this bear hunt in the first place,” he writes on the Australian Medical Students’ Association website.
