Botox works for neuropathic pain

Botulinum toxin A injections have a sustained analgesic effect in peripheral neuropathic pain, say French researchers.

Their trial randomised 150 patients to either two administrations of botulinum toxin A three months apart or to placebo injections, with all participants and researchers blinded to the treatment.
