Cancer goggles: the future of cancer surgery?

“Cancer goggles” may become as indispensable to a surgeon as scalpels and sutures, if tests of the new technology in the USA succeed.

The goggles enable the surgeon to distinguish cancer cells from normal tissue during an operation, as cancer cells glow blue when seen through them.
