Chinese who adopt Western fast food diet increase CVD risk

A study found people who consumed fast food once a week increased their risk of dying from CVD by 20%. The risk increased to 50% by eating it two or three times per week and rose to 80% with four or more junk food meals.

The authors said the few studies on the association between fast food and metabolic risk looked almost exclusively at Western Caucasian populations in the US.
