Circumcision may help prevent prostate cancer

Circumcised men may have a lower risk of prostate cancer, according to the findings of an international study.

Countries in which more than 80% of the males are circumcised have a prostatic carcinoma mortality rate approximately 45% lower than in countries with lower rates of circumcision, write the study authors led by Professor Emeritus Brian J Morris of the University of Sydney.
