Clinic launch at Seidler’s memorial

Dr Seidler died suddenly last month after more than 30 years advocating for better access to healthcare for the disadvantaged among the Kings Cross community.

Announcing details of a memorial service to be held this week, the Seidler family said the proposed Raymond Seidler Clinic would focus on the physical health needs of underprivileged mentally ill patients with drug and alcohol problems.

Dr Seidler had been working on a mental health hotline to allow GPs to speak to a consultant at St Vincent’s in particularly acute mental health crises.
