Concern for patients after ketamine clinic closure
A LEADING depression expert says Aura Medical must take responsibility for its patients, following media reports that the company is winding up its operation.
The company – which has been linked to controversial erectile dysfunction clinic Advanced Medical Institute (AMI) – provided experimental ketamine treatment to depression sufferers.
"Aura should have referred people who were in the program to appropriate service providers. They clearly haven't," said Professor Philip Mitchell, head of psychiatry at UNSW.
