D-Day for Aussie doctors

A rheumatologist has teamed up with four colleagues to create an innovative way for Australian doctors to volunteer their services in the battle against Ebola without leaving their rooms.

The idea is that every doctor in Australia and New Zealand donates one day’s income to the cause, says Dr Robert Baume, a rheumatologist at Gosford hospital in NSW.

In 2013 the group formed a foundation called Twice the Doctor
