Diabetes risk sets in with TV, car ownership: study
The prevalence of obesity increased in low-income countries from 3.4% among people not owning any of the objects to 14.5% among those owning all three. Owning all three was associated with a 31% decrease in activity.
The researchers examined data on more than 150,000 adults from 17 countries.
