E-cigarettes behind surge in calls to Poisons Centres

E-cigarette-related calls to poison centres across the US have dramatically increased since 2010 and are now responsible for 42% of all cigarette-related poisoning calls, a new study has shown.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report showed that the number of phone calls related to e-cigarettes containing nicotine jumped from one per month in September 2010 to 215 per month in February 2014.
