Educators find type 1 technology ‘burdensome’

Diabetes educators find technology to manage type 1 diabetes to be “burdensome” due to poor access and support, a study shows.

The researchers, led by CDE Steven James from the University of Technology, Sydney, interviewed 31 CDEs across Australia who have worked with technologies such as CSII, CGM, apps and video-conferencing.
