Evidence reveals vitamin D benefits are lacking

Several types of meta-analyses were carried out on data from 40 randomised controlled trials, finding that supplementation with vitamin D, with or without calcium, does not change skeletal or non-skeletal outcomes by 15% or more, the researchers said.
