Experts warn of rise in new MRSA strain

Cases of infection with EMRSA-15, a strain imported from the UK more than a decade ago, have increased steadily and accounted for nearly a fifth of all community-onset MRSA infections when biennial figures were last collated by the Australian Group on Antimicrobial Resistance (AGAR) in 2010.
