Football players high abusers of painkillers
A FIFA-funded study on the use of medications during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa found 71.7% of all players took some form of medication during the tournament with 60.3% taking a painkiller at least once.
More than a third (39%) took a painkiller before every game.
