Govt silent over doctors' rego fears

The Federal Government has gone mute over claims by doctors working at the Christmas Island detention centre that they risk losing their medical registration because of the shockingly poor level of care they had been forced to provide.

A detailed 93-page "letter of concern", signed by 15 senior medical staff, claimed the doctors had been working with a low supply of basic medical stock, with their requests for medications sometimes being ignored.
