GP training deal for Aboriginal health service

In what AMS Redfern chair Sol Bellear described as a landmark deal for Australia’s first and largest Indigenous health service, primary health organisation WentWest will provide the registrars to AMS Redfern for training.

The provider’s appointment came after AMS Redfern, a community-controlled registered charity funded through government grants, last year suspended its registrar training in order to review its operations.
