GPs are key to diabetes plan, but they were not consulted

The federal government’s new four-year national diabetes strategy aims to boost co-ordination of care between GPs and other health providers, while also cracking down on food and drink advertising.

But the RACGP has criticised the plan, saying primary care diabetes experts were ignored in the planning stages.
