GPs still needed during pregnancy

One of the countries which have seen this change is the Netherlands, so Dutch researchers have tried to quantify how often pregnant women see a GP nowadays.

The general practice network in the Netherlands had information on 15,123 pregnant women and this was compared with 102,564 other age-matched women.
