GPs urged to proactively review hep C patients

GPs are being urged to proactively contact all their patients with hepatitis C following the 1 March PBS listing of new-generation direct-acting antiviral (DAA) therapies.

All GPs are now able to treat non-cirrhotic patients, in consultation with a specialist.
