Healthy doctors may lead to more healthy patients

Researchers assessed this by reviewing screening and vaccination among 1488 doctors and >1.8 million patients in Israel’s largest health maintenance organisation.

They found 49% of patients of physicians immunised against the flu also received a flu shot compared to 43% of patients whose physicians did not have the vaccine, a statistically significant difference.
