PRACTICE nurses wanting to learn more about hepatitis now can with various courses running throughout Australia.
The Australasian Society for HIV Medicine is offering courses and resources, many free, to help primary care nurses manage hepatitis in the community.
Training on subjects such as the nursing program in both hepatitis B and C, a prescriber course and blood-borne viruses and STIs for practice nurses are a few of the courses available.
Resources such as reference guides, booklets and best practice guides in various areas of hepatitis education, including antenatal care, are also available.
