Huge variations in cancer drug prices

A study of the pricing of new cancer drugs in Europe and Australasia has found huge variations coupled with little transparency of real costs.

One of the most egregious examples is the chemotherapy drug gemcitabine, which costs $64 per vial in Australia, compared with a whopping $310 across the Tasman – a hike of over 380%.
