Hypos slipping under the radar

Patients with type 1 diabetes are having frequent, and sometimes severe, hypoglycaemic events but not telling their doctor, Australian researchers say.

A national survey of 642 adults with type 1 diabetes showed they were experiencing hypoglycaemia twice a week on average. One in five patients had a hypo in the last six months that was so severe that they needed help from another person.
Since these life-threatening events
