India set to act on booming surrogacy
India is one of the world’s most popular destinations for surrogacy but the industry is unregulated with potential surrogates implanted with as many as six embryos.
Fertility experts believe that women should only be allowed to be a surrogate three times and only after having children of their own.
There is also concern that ART clinics intrusively manage surrogates by controlling what the women eat, where they sleep and how often they see their family.
